Extinction Rebellion Framingham’s Look Up, Step UpJoin members of Extinction Rebellion to learn about their plan to confront the climate and ecological emergency! “The alarm bells are deafening, and the evidence is irrefutable: greenhouse-gas emissions from fossil-fuel burning and deforestation are choking our planet and putting billions of people at immediate risk … if we combine forces now, we can avert climate catastrophe.” – UN Secretary General António Guterres. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the scale of what we are facing. That is why we need each and every one of us to come together while there is still time to act. They are inviting you to open your hearts and explore new possibilities. It’s time to stop feeling powerless and alone and get to know other local people who want to make a difference, too.
The talk will be about one hour and there will be time for Q&A. This event is hosted by Extinction Rebellion Framingham with help from XR Boston and the generosity of Open Spirit openspiritcenter.org. This event is cosponsored by Transition Framingham, Edwards Church’s Green Team and Climate Action. RSVP here: Extinction Rebellion’s Look Up, Step Up
